Pioneer sub in cargo area

I just bought a 2011 equinox and I just realized it had a sub in the back it's a factory sub but doesn't have any sound I checked the fuses and they all check out ok does anyone have any input

Not a sub, it's a noise cancellation system and that's probably what you have.
You have to have the upgraded sound system to get the sub.

Yeah I have that too. The dealer said I had to buy the LTZ model to get the sub... No thanks!

I was under them impression and may be wrong, if you have the upgraded Pioneer sound system with a V6 it is a powered 8in Dual Coil Pioneer Sub.
All 4cyl models have ANC(active noise control) that use the sub see pioneers website.
