Over the weekend (1/11/2025), all the radio settings and phone pairing were lost.

Am I the only one who had the issue?
I wonder if there was an update that caused it?

I think it's protesting you tinkering with the hood switch and/or creating all these 2025 problem threads..

Seriously though. I'm wondering if low system voltage isn't messing with the vehicle. Reason I suggest this... Being active over at some Nissan boards and other GM boards I frequent, you see it more and more now where new vehicles are being delivered with weak/failing batteries. I think it's a function of a bunch of things. Poor quality batteries. Too small a capacity battery. Variable voltage charging systems that all cars have now to save fuel. Auto stop/start constantly taking it's toll, etc..

I don't know but I have lost Amazon twice and now that I think about I also lost Google once and I had to sign back in. I'm hoping Chevy comes up with some updates for the radio.

Oddly, my wife came home yesterday telling me the radio quits working every time she backs out of the garage and she can't get it to come back except for restarting the car and then only for a minute. I went out to check it out and it worked fine for me. We both have different sign ins for the infotainment system, and connect to our individual phones for AA so figured it was related to her settings or phone.

Turns out it was her phone. As soon as it would connect to AA the volume disappeared and wouldn't come back? I shut off her phone, restarted it and then all was fine. She's had no more issues.

I assume she had some kind of update on her phone that required a restart to finish installing, and that was causing her issue? If not, who knows?

Works now, though. A real head scratcher! 🤔😉

Turns out it was her phone.

A few observations, may or may not have anything to do with anything.
1.
I just noticed something on ours when I was reprogramming after the weekend event. The car is her daily driver except when we are together, then I drive. I can't remember the screen's name, it is the one where you connect your phone to the car. I had the option set to pick up my phone if both were present. When I was driving, I would have to go into the source screen and pick FM for the radio. I listen to podcast on my AA and my wife does not. I found a setting that can be turned off so it does not try and play the last media on the phone. I don't remember if that was there or not before.
2.
When we noticed all the radio settings were missing. We drove about an hour and a half that morning to watch our grandson's basketball tournament. After the first game, my wife and I go get something to eat. Then we went to the other grandparent's home to hang out till the second game. Drove back to the school. As we were leaving, backing out the camera was full screen. When the camera went out, the screen was blank. No shortcuts, options, just blank. Then I shut the car off and on to get it back and that is when we noticed all the channels had reset. Drove home and and had AA. Going to church the next morning, the radio worked, don't remember AA status since it is about 6 miles drive. Going home, I turned my phone back on and noticed it did not connect. Neither did my wife. Stopped to get lunch. I stayed in the car with her phone and repaired them. That was when I noticed the "play last media option".

I wonder if these are just 2 different events. Whatever blanked out the screens when that glitched is when the stations were lost. Our phone update did something to lose the pair status to the car and was not caused by the car.

Anyway, just thinking out loud. :)
