Playing around with settings, there is a button you can press to see the 360 view. Kind of like when you go into reverse. I wonder if there is a way to have a button always available on the main screen, kind of like the headlights.

Not in the car right now, but I have used a camera button on the infotainment for continuous 360 view, so I know that it's there.

On the previous generation Equinox you could drag and drop short cut icons from one page to another.
Try holding down on the camera icon and see if you can drag it to the main page.
I have the camera icon on my 2018 main screen. I use it a lot when pulling into a parking space.

It looks like you can drag and drop icons on the Equinox EV.
See if this helps. Link below

I got it, but had to use the entry to settings that looks like home plate. :) Also, had to hold it over the shortcut that I wanted to replace. I wonder what is the differance between home plate and the two toggle switches at the top. They both seem to get you into settings.

You can drag that icon over to a current icon on the home screen and have it available but I think it will replace one that is already there. I have brought this up before. I had it on for a short time but wow is it distracting. Even at very low speed I had to look away plus I realized, what's the point.

I'm surprised the new display has very little color.
Here's the screens on my 2018.

On penright's picture I would have to look at the manual to figure out the symbol he has a arrow pointed at.
For my brain a symbol of a house is better for Home.
