I have 2014 Equinox 1LT AWD 4 cyl. and last week it jerked forward while driving. When I pulled over, I noticed the 'Service StabiliTrak' and 'Service Power Steering' messages. I drove the short distance back to my destination and parked it. Next day, I went to NAPA to have OBD II codes pulled. The following codes were pulled: U0101, C0010-5A, U0402-71 and U0101-00. Just talking to different mechanics without them seeing the car, I've been told it's sensor related, a TCM switch, an internal transmission issue and an electrical issue.
The problem I experienced was the car jerking forward, then bogging down and slowing down, the locks locking & unlocking and error messages on screen all while driving the short distance from where it first jerked forward. Also, it jumped back when it was in Reverse a couple of times. I checked the Owner's Manual and learned how to Turn Off the StabiliTrak and did so. My head has been spinning for the last week from all the different possible problems. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues and what the resolution was?

We had some of the problems you described the stable-track, service power steering, doors unlocking after auto shutoff at lights and other weird stuff. It all completely stopped after putting in a new battery even though the battery tested good at the parts store. It may be a bad battery or a bad battery connection or a bad ground somewhere.

I have the same issue with the same error codes and in the process of fixing it. My car is 2014 Equinox LS instead. I replaced the battery with a new one but still getting the same error codes. Decided to check all the fuses, internal and external. I discovered that the fuse number 47 under the hood (external) is getting power. Although this fuse is supposed to be a spare fuse. As a result, posted a new thread but have not seen any feedback yet. Although, I disconnected the TCM wiring connection to check if there is any transmission fluid has contaminated the connection pins but everything is dry. That is one possibility to generate code U010100. The other possibility is if you are having a ground issue or short somewhere. So, in my case the fuse number 47 is hot but based on the owner's manual it supposed to be a spare fuse. SMH. Please let me know once you have resolved this issue.

Thank you for your input. The battery is brand new and still the problem exist. The diagram is very helpful. FYI, I Do NOT get error codes P0700, U0101 or U0101, U0121 BUT I GET ERROR CODES U0402, U0101 and U0101, U0100. Which is the top portion of the diagram. To magnify the nature of the fuse number 47 under the hood, it supposed to be a spare fuse but mine is receiving power. And this is the only spare fuse is indicated under the hood in the fuse box.Which leads me to believe there is a bad ground or a short issue somewhere. It is mind boggling because I am under impression that a spare fuse place holder shouldn't have any connection mechanism to begin with and why am I getting power to this place holder? You see my dilemma here. Any feedback, suggestion, recommendation I appreciate that very much.
