I have the 2010 2nd generation Equinox LTZ Trim. I had an experience two weeks ago that I think is worth sharing. I was driving with the vehicle running as normal when I had a massive loss of power. Long story short, the Codes thrown were P0304 (Misfire cylinder #4) P0228C (fuel pressure regulator in your vehicle is not working properly) and eventually the P088 (High pressure Fuel pump failure) I had no injector codes at all. I point this out because after replacing the parts associated with the fault codes it turns out the Fuel injector was stuck wide open. You guessed it, I had to tear everything down again. Hope this helps someone.

I should also mention that after completion repairs there was still a slight misfire on cylinder #4, at cold start up. I ran fuel treatment for a few tanks of gas and tis cleared it up.
I used Lucas, Royal flush, and Seafoam.
