2012 Equinox LT

Backup camera intermittent function issue.

Always recognizes the reverse input from PRNDL.
Always triggers the screen on dash.
But only shows the actual rear view via screen 50% of time.
Sometimes starts and then goes dark, others starts dark then functions.
Tried a known good camera from another Equinox and same issues.
Anyone know the troubleshooting steps I can try?

I replaced the backup camera 2-3 times and it would work but then eventually work only sporadically. Then I made sure the connector was real clean using DeoxIT and might have put a small zip tie to keep it snug. I’ve since replaced the vehicle but had no problems since doing this.
