anyone know why it hesitates to go mainly after it shifts into 4th gear. It’s like something’s holding it back from going.. then sometimes I’ll feel it break through and go.. it’s weird.

Yeah, if fluid came out there, as Rodney Dangerfield explained, that's the PCV return hose.

Sounds like the air intake resonator was full of that gunk. That would be getting in the engine, through the intake manifold.

Yank that resonator off, spray a bunch of brake cleaner in it, slosh it around, and pour out, to get that stuff out.

Then install a catch can, to prevent this in the future. I have one on mine, empty it every 2 or 3 weeks. Pretty cool seeing all that crao that does NOT make it's way into the engine.

How do I go about installing this catch can? I’ve heard of them before..

I used a yoo toob viddya to see how to do it, there are a bunch of 'em. Very simple procedure.

Got the can off Amazon.
