I have a 2020 Equinox. The brakes are very sensitive to pressure. Is there a way to make them less sensitive? Reprogram the module? or something? It is not pads , lines or shoes. My wife drives the car without a problem , when I drive the brakes lock up very easily as I have a problem feeling them until I put a bit of pressure on the pedal. No problem with my truck just this car. Nice car but the pedal pressure is so light I have a lot of trouble driiving it.

Since your wife is not complaining, I would suggest that it is the difference between a car and a truck. There will be a difference. If you drive it long enough, you'll get used to it, and then your wife will complain about the brakes on the truck. Sorry.

I have the same issue, and I agree with you. The brakes are EXTREMELY touchy on my wife's 2023 Equinox LT. I have no issues with brakes on any vehicle except this one. I just barely touch the brakes to slow down and WHAM! We're at a stop almost and my wife is into the seatbelt straps like a parachute just opened. It's bloody annoying. I have to apologize each time I start to drive her car. I don't get it, but like the RIT333 said, I guess it's up to us to get used to. Good luck Mr. Lightfoot!
