Rough Idle on 2011 Equinox

I just picked up a used 2011 Equinox 2.4 with 79K from the dealership. I have noticed that on cold mornings when I start her up the RPMs seem high and flux between 1.25-1.5. After about 15 seconds the RPMs seem to flatten out at right around 1. However when I put her in gear to get going I notice some hesitation and jerkyness from the engine if I don't wait for RPMs to flatten out. I have also noticed a couple times when accelerating from a roll I get the same hesitation/Jerk...

Is this normal, or any ideas on what may be causing this?

I have a 2013 LT 2.4 AWD that exhibits the same behavior. Not sure why. Everything is in good working order and well-maintained. ~60,000 miles on the odo.

When first started, idle is rough almost like it is missing intermittently. After a few seconds, it settles down to a lower idle.

Would love to know more.

Dealer did a three stage throttle body cleaning. Seemed to help a little bit. Since this car is new to me with 79K, I may opt for spark plug replacements soon which may further subdue the issue...
