Low pitch noise in engine

After shutting off my 2016 Equinox about one hour later I walked by the front and heard a low pitch noise like a small motor going on and clicking off. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem with my 2010 Chevy Equinox. Did you find out what was causing the problem

No, just found out today.

Is it a rumbling noise?

Mine does that but it's the ballasts for the LED lights I installed.

No, it sounds like an ice maker letting water into the cube maker and then clicking off....

Chevy has no idea of what it could be. Very slight motor runs under the hood for about 10 seconds and shuts off. Sounds like it is resetting itself.. Any help?

Can someone try this and let me know. Lock/open the car with the fob and wait in front of the engine for 1 minute. You will hear a small what seems to be motor run for about 10 seconds, will happen again on unlock. Any ideas?
