Knock sensor issues

Have a 2011 Equinox ltz 3.0l engine with a p0327 knock sensor code. Vehicle was running rough, and had not much power. The car would not even accelerate up an incline. Took it to a dealer in london, ky , tincher Williams. (Very bad mechanic and service shop in my opinion.) they diagnosed as a much more problems with many codes listed that turned out to be a scam $240.00 for their time, gave it back to me saying customer refused further diagnosis. So no help at all. Took it to a mechanic that changed the sensor for ,$ 140.00 and solved all the engine running problems. Vehicle is running great. So the bad p0327 knock sensors code can make the engine run bad and the dealers are still out there trying to scam folks. Just thought you all may want to be aware.
