How to Turn off automatic stop and start on a 2025 Equinox rs

I like the location of these buttons way better than on the 2022 - 2024. My AWD button is flat on the center console and can be accidently pressed, causing wasted gas and unneeded irritation. Good move Chevy!

I've done the same thing on my 2021 LT AWD! Accidentally pressed and left the AWD on for days. If you miss the quick "AWD on" message that stays on for a few seconds on the DIC, your only indication that AWD is active is the tiny orange LED on the AWD button. You get no indication per the dash at all. First world problems for sure. More of an annoyance I guess.

In terms of disabling A/S/S for the 2025, has anyone been able to identify the hood switch harness on one? It should be right near the hood latch. I'm wondering if the 2018-2024 bypass harnesses will work on a 2025.

50 dollars for a book kept in the globe compartment? Why? Idon't meant to be flip, but don't you know how to read a pdf? I mean 99% of adults in the US have cell phones and all necessary vehicle data is printed on the car's pillar. Please don't take my comment the wrong way, it's just 50 dollars is a rip off.

Digression: the cost of paper and printing has increased and $50 is cheaper than the cost of printing the PDF oneself (in my area of US at least). However, you make the good point that you can read the PDF anywhere. True. However, personally, I find reading off a screen (much LESS a phone) to actually read the entire manual, is painful. I'd rather read from paper.

Digression2: I personally am going to read the entire manual versus learn-the-car-as-I-go (my wife's method) as I think I will learn more about the vehicle and how it all works together. Not everyone does it this way of course. I want to fully understand this thing and its many options and thus understand its idiosyncrasies.
