I've done the same thing on my 2021 LT AWD! Accidentally pressed and left the AWD on for days. If you miss the quick "AWD on" message that stays on for a few seconds on the DIC, your only indication that AWD is active is the tiny orange LED on the AWD button. You get no indication per the dash at all. First world problems for sure. More of an annoyance I guess.I like the location of these buttons way better than on the 2022 - 2024. My AWD button is flat on the center console and can be accidently pressed, causing wasted gas and unneeded irritation. Good move Chevy!
In terms of disabling A/S/S for the 2025, has anyone been able to identify the hood switch harness on one? It should be right near the hood latch. I'm wondering if the 2018-2024 bypass harnesses will work on a 2025.
