Egr tube crack

I replaced egr tube. My office is over garage at my house. When my wife starts suv i could hear a low freq rumble from exhaust. With new tube sound is gone. Seems odd for small leak from tube. Maybe it odd acoustics from me being in room above garage? My garage is sheetrocked of course. For fire code. I could hear tic-tic when I drove suv but it was not obtrusive. sound is funny

Did you replace it with OEM part. I got one from Rock Auto and when I bent it to conform it kinked on me!!

Had same issue with mine. Tube on it is original and can't get direct replacement since old one was recalled. Didn't want to bother with reflash and changing connectors. Ended up just brazing around the tube. So far so good.
