Same issue at same speed range with 2022. These little engines need to run at a minimum 1500 rpm, but around town it's doing 11-1200 rpm. I asked the dealer service advisor if there was a software change available that would act like a "sport" mode to keep the revs up, but he said no. I blip the throttle a lot to force downshifts, but it doesn't stay there long.
I didn't care much until I read about Low Speed Pre Ignition, or Stochastic Pre Ignition. Sounds like it could cause early engine death.
