I have the same problem with our 24 in the 35-40 mph range. Makes a lugging noise because the transmission seems to have upshifted too soon. Almost like a bad shift point probably meant to improve mpg or something. Just had an oil change at the dealership and forgot to mention this. Hope it's not damaging to engine or transmission.

Same issue at same speed range with 2022. These little engines need to run at a minimum 1500 rpm, but around town it's doing 11-1200 rpm. I asked the dealer service advisor if there was a software change available that would act like a "sport" mode to keep the revs up, but he said no. I blip the throttle a lot to force downshifts, but it doesn't stay there long.

I didn't care much until I read about Low Speed Pre Ignition, or Stochastic Pre Ignition. Sounds like it could cause early engine death.
