Overheats like a bitch
Have literally changed everything on this carthat kinda has to do with the cooling system. We've changed the thermostat. The water pumpthe dual fans and the radiator but yet it continues to overheat. Almost immediately. Umit just kind of seems getting a little bit worse before I could drive a good 15 minutes before overheated. Now I get a couple minutes of that. What I did notice is before changing the dual fan. Only the passenger side one ever kicked on. The driver's side one never turns on. My neighborhood crackhead tried to hot wire it to get it to turn on and it still won't kick on. He took the dual fan out of my carinstalled it in his car and both fans turned on. But for some reason the driver's side fan won't kick on. Can this be causing my overheating or am I? Correct in, that's just AC cooling fan. And I don't really need it

both fans should run on low speed with ac on. If car overheats you might get a p0118 code for engine hot. And ac will not come on.
My 08 had only 1 fan running at high speed. I unplugged connectors and checked ohms and plugged it all back in and both fans decided to run. Odd.
I’d bet money you have headgasket issue. Have you done a hydrocarbon test?
I think the 06 has a fan relay under the headlight area on driver side? I know 08 does not.

Idk what a hydrocarbon test is.

But my friend did a pressure test and said it was not my head gasket.

There is a test you can do to “sniff” coolant and it detects exh gas if headgasket is leaking. It uses a dye solution. Changes color. Headgaskets are a common issue. Your car is almost 20 yrs old. I see them for sale as fixer uppers all the time.

It's been sniffed by 3 separate mechanics. And it's just fine. The problem is I can't get the second fan on
