The new LSY 2.0T is a totally different engine from the old Equinox 2.0T. Check it out here: https://gmauthority.com/blog/gm/gm-engines/lsy/ I believe the newer blazers have been using this 2.0T and it's been the base engine in the GMC Acadia since around 2021. Pretty neat features on it IMO.

Are you using automatic or manual temperature control? I keep my 2021 LT model in manual control. Your HVAC controls are different on your 2025 vs my 2021 though.

Are you sure the check engine light works? If it's a true cylinder misfire, you are definitely going to have a flashing CEL and codes present. Any other symptoms like poor fuel economy, nasty looking engine oil? This is a weird one.

How many miles on it? Do you know what the exact codes were for the cam phaser solenoids? Reason I ask is, you may have excessive timing chain wear, which is throwing the valve timing off enough to cause performance issues, higher than normal crankcase pressure, etc.
