Random connectors on battery

I have a 2019 equinox turbo diesel and it has theses molex connectors on the battery I replaced a spade on one side due to corrosion can anyone tell me what these are here for or why they are there or if I should remove them

There is also a cable that I electrical taped due to exposed wires it was sitting in the engine bay

Looks like someone ran power to an aftermarket device possibly a trailer light module or something

The wire with the fuse is part of the vehicle electrical system. It is a current sense device. The other wire appears to be aftermarket.
