So it seems that occasionally I will lose power and to bring it back, I thought it was in the fuse box somewhere. Today I've narrowed it down the the computer box. If power is lost, I open the hood, tap once or twice on the "brain" and power is restored. When I unbolted it, to check on battery connections, a bunch of white dust / corrosion fell out of the connection ports. I'm wondering if I should disconnect all four connectors and see if I can blow them out and attempt to clean the connections? If nothing else, I could see which one has the corrosion and then narrow down which sets of wires I should be tracing to find a problem.

Yes, cleaning the connectors would make sense. First try to blow out any corrosion you see. Then, liberally spray electronics cleaner in connectors on both cable and the box. If you have have MAF sensor cleaner, that works fine. finally, when you reconnect the cables, disconnect and reconnect them 3 to 5 times. This acts to clean the contacts as they move back and forth,

Hope that helps
