Offline navigation on newer models

Hi all...

Just out of curiosity:

For '24 / '25 owners: Do you have updated maps and navigation functions when you are out of range of all cell signals? (Common out here in flyover country, if you stray more than a few miles from cities or major highways!)

To clarify - on my '22, 'connected' (i.e. online) nav was still an option, but the car has a nav system built in, which only depends on map data on a (replaceable) SD card (i.e. no cell service). Works kind of like the old windshield-stick-on Garmin units. Does your '24 or '25 have something like that?

My wife's 25 Blazer has the built in Nav like my 2018 Equinox.

I was under the impression that the 2025 used Google maps. Google maps on my smartphone has offline maps you can download before you start a trip. I have done this a few times when going through or into poor reception areas, Android Auto then used the offline map in the car. HTH
