Ever since I helped my daughter buy this car, I've had only one problem with it. The location of the light switch. Often when I get in or out of the Equinox, my knee hits and changes the switch from its setting, which we want on automatic. It usually turns the switch to on.
It's similar to gripe I had about my 2002 Avalanche that I put up with for 17 years, the cuff of my pants would catch on the hood release or break release (can't recall). In any case, I'd love to have the ear of engineers who work on GM vehicles to suggest changes, even minor ones. I'm driving a 2022 Escalade ESV and so far, no human factors gripes.

Move the seat back slightly before you get out.
