Other than Console Vaults what are you doing to secure your handgun in your 3rd gen Equinox?

I'm trying to find something that isn't obvious with easy access primarily for the driver but also for the front passenger.

I installed a Console Vault. It is solid and secure. I signed up for their marketing emails and lo and behold, received a 20% discount coupon. I keep a G21 in it, and a P365 on my hip. A G21 magazine fits in the sunglasses holder.

Hey Tonebalone, thanks for your response! Any chance I could get you to send me a couple of photos of how it looks in your car as well as what the inside looks like? Did you give up anything such as space or USB ports?

The USB ports are connected inside the vault. I don't feel I am missing any space, the little organizer still fits so I have a pen, tire gauge, knife, etc. available. The LED lights the combination lock.
