My 2020 equinox LT with 40K miles on it has non-functioning adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and steering assist. I also think that the emergency braking and warning does not work. I have a strong suspicion that the front camera in the windshield does not work, or maybe one of the fuses is out. There doesn’t seem to be a fuse specific to the camera, but I think it’s connected to one of the body control module fuses. Does anyone know which body control module is hooked up to this front camera sensor? Or is there another fix that I don’t know of? Thanks.

I have a 2021 and mine did the same exact thing. Took it to my local GM dealership and It ended up being the Camara at the top of the windshield. It took close to five months for my GM dealership to get the parts.

Hi, just an observation to consider. My previous car, (not a Chevrolet), had similar multiple issues, but was remedied simply by a new with an air filter.
At just 40k it sounds unlikely, but if you are travelling lots of dusty roads

Had the adaptive cruise issue in my 2021
gmc sierra, it was front window camera and cost $1100 to fix which fixed several other issues. Not sure about fuse fix, but highly unlikely to be the problem

So I am bringing this back to life. Anyone have any idea what fuse powers the front camera that makes all the auto headlight, lane change assist, and auto breaking work? I assume its one of the BCM's.

With the year information you could look up a fuse diagram or maybe even check the owners manual.

2020, but I looked, no fuse listed. Which is why I think its one of the BCM fuses. F40 in the passenger compartment seems to be the backup camera only.

On my 22, F40 on the Instrument Panel Fuse Block is for Camera module and rear tailgate - I suspect that is for the rear camera. However, all 8 BCM module fuses are also located in that panel.

Engine compartment has F32 that is labeled Various Functions.

Rear Compartment panel has F17 for Video Processing Module. That's kind of interesting.

Good luck, I think you need a wiring diagram to trace out where the wires go.
