Cooling fan issue

Hello everyone! I’m new here and looking for some help. I have a 2018 Equinox 1.5 that hit a deer. I’ve had to replace the cooling fan and radiator this afternoon.. My problem is after topping off the coolant and getting the temp up to operating condition the fan doesn’t seem to work. Once in a while it will turn about 1/2 of a rotation and stop immediately so it’s not totally dead.. I’ve ran the A/C and it blows cold but the compressor seems to kick off for at least a full minute before coming back on and still no fan.. Just a side note, the grill shutter was busted up so I completely removed it but I did leave the grill shutter actuator plugged up behind the bumper. I thought maybe that would have something to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

This also just happened to my daughter. 2019 chevy equinox same engine. Any replies would be helpful as the car can't be drove without the fan working.

Had the same issue with my 2019 1.5L. Changed recommended sensors, no luck. Changed the coolant fan and it took care of it. My was fine but some people posted the harness plug had some contamination.
