ATTN: ALL Newbie's

I bought a '17 Premier used w/50k on it. Was a rental. I mainly use it to carry my fishing yak and gear for the week end fishing trips. I love the interior and the amenities and of course the power and the AWD. It does suck up the gas though. But I don't like the NAV, its way to busy with all the icons on it. I just use my phone GPS. I'll have to ask if there's a way to clean that up.

I think it was under SETTINGS that I found where I could add things to the map. If you can add, you should be able to subtract. My question was "can you save a location that has NO address like I do on my Garmin?"

New member here. I am on my 4th Equinox. My present is a 2017 LT AWD 3.6, and have an issue with my rear wiper. At first it would work some days, and not others. Now not at all. When it did work, there were no strange noises and operation seemed normal. Fuse is ok. Removed tailgate cover, and motor plug has 3 wires. With ignition on in park, after trying rear wiper switch in all 3 positions one has power constantly, and the others have none. Would gratefully appreciate any help. Thx

Just bought a 2017 Equinox Premier. So far I’m happy with it. My folks have had Equinox’s in the past and have nothing but good things to say about them. So with it being time for me needing a vehicle the Equinox was the way to go.

How big of a pain is it to change out the headlight assemblies? They ones on the car are a little faded and wanted to get new ones now before it got real bad. Also can any of you suggest a place that has some custom headlight assemblies?

You should be able to access them by removing the wheel well liner. Amazon and ebay have a number of options, just make sure you select the correct ones for your application.

I am new here and I have an issue with my new used Equinox. As the name suggests my husband is a mechanic by trade (not working right now). We just acquired a 2010 Equinox, which runs great with one major problem. Get in the car. You turn the ignition on all the lights come on, and the dash works. Everything works. when you turn the key it ignites. It runs fine, but you lose all dash. All control of locks and windows. The only thing that works. is the radio and the heater. It's very frustrating. We can't seem to figure out what's going on. Like I said, all the lights come on. and everything works fine in auxiliary mode. But as soon as you start the car, and let go of the key, everything goes black. The whole dash is dead. The windows don't work. no speedometer no gauges at all. Just the radio and the heat.

Hi There!

I am a mechanic's son. I would suggest double checking the ground. It sounds plausible that the dash grounds through the run circuit until the engine starts and takes away the ground. Maybe add an extra ground to the body and one from the body to the dash?
It could also be a bad battery or body control module.

I am a former mechanic, my dad was a plumber. Not sure why, but somehow a faulty ignition switch comes to mind. Worth checking.

New member. 08 nox sport fwd 3.6. It's actually a nox. The equi part of emblem is gone
I plan to post some issues I had with throttle stopping responding, service stabilitrac/traction control, fuel gage not working ect.
Solved alot with simple fix.
