I was reading up on some rear air ride suspension that you can get to accommodate a heavy loaded cargo area or Cargo rack on the hitch... Even to help out with trailering.

If you have done this are know anything about it I would like to find out about this. Gotta set your Mod's priorities. :)

Are you wanting to bag it, or just for towing?

I wish Pedders would make a spring set for us....But for a stock SUV I will say we have a pretty good suspension setup.

If I am interpreting this correctly, what you are looking at is RideRite air helper bags. I worked as an installer doing truck accessories for quite some time. I have not been up under my Nox yet to say exactly whether or not it would work for you but those are designed for extreme loads. I honestly don't think you will squat your ride with that much weight ever.
