I have 2 in the neighborhood that have this installed I’m going to check on them tomorrow. I just texted the driver and he said everything’s fine but we’ll see.
Thanks for follow up, clamped off hose going up to Catch can. Cleared codes, did a 600 mile trip, codes did not return. After trip did some additional testing, replaced pcv with a fixed orifice pcv (Duralast PCV1009DL). Size of hole similar to intake hole size. An observation using the 045-0262 PCV, it is running full open when removed from valve cover and makes a whistle sound. Doing some additional testing, will follow up. I still like the concept, just getting it to work on my 2015 Equinox with good fuel trims. May temporarily bypass catch can too see what results are. Thanks again

One of the reasons behind using a PCV valve vs the orifice is the PCV valve prevents moisture buildup in the fresh air tube. The orifice allows bidirectional airflow so at certain times you could have blowby flowing out the fresh air tube. Maybe GM thinks that that’s OK, but anyonethat lives up north knows moisture in the fresh air tube is a big problem. Why a lot of people use the FC219. Anyways, I attached a video and some live data from a few minutes ago on the 2013 with 123K.

Short video of the PCV valve at idle. When I disconnect, you can hear the blow by. Also check out the fresh air tube, which is clean.

Thanks for video, and pics. I will revisit this on my side and attach info. Previously I had attached a catch can on clean side will attach pics of debris I captured on 600 mile trip. I only capture debris in clean side with extended driving. 2015 Equinox 150K, only started experiencing oil consumption @ 140K. Oil changes between 3-4 K
