I checked my 2018.
From the bottom of the bumper cover to the garage floor is 12 inches.
The bottom of the factory installed hitch is 14.75 inches to the floor.
The factory receiver is 3 inches top to bottom.

If a trailer hitch was installed and the top of the receiver touches the bottom of the bumper cover, the bottom of the receiver would be 9 inches from the floor.
@Enjin what is the distance from the bottom of your 2025 bumper cover to the floor?

Penright, what is the distance from the bottom of your bumper cover to the floor?
2025 LT/Activ - 13.5 inches from bottom of rear facia to ground. 9.5 inches from bottom of receiver to ground.

Thanks
I don't think I would be comfortable with the receiver being 5 inches lower than what I have nww.

I used the etrailer install instructions for the 2024 (for my 2025). I installed the 2024 hitch on my 2025. The harness has been the issue. The 2025 uses a 4 pin, trailer side Molex part number 33471-0401 while the earlier 2024 Equinox used a 6 pin of the same family. I can't find relays in the 2025 and the fuses are populated under the hood so should 'plug and play'. With the 33471-0401 connected to the 4 pins on the std 4 pin trailer flat conn (like the GM pic in Penright's Oct 10 post) I get no power. One of the 4 pins on the 33471-0401 is ground. I'm wondering if GM now 'code' the hitch power...which would be a PITA.
I did contact etrailer re the same, they advised Curt is aware of the '4 pin issue' and 'Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - Preorder # C88RV. ' and the picture of C88RV (as of this posting) on etrailer isn't the pending C88RV. https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C88RV.html.
FWIW the 33471-0401 is available on Amazon or Ebay. It's typically used for ignition coils.
Did you solve this? {not to hijack thread} curious if he 4 prong wiring issue has been solved. Photo is of my 25 LT with 24 hitch installed.

Could you post another picture? That one is hard to see.

Sorry, got distracted (squirrel) and the holiday.
The lowest part of the bumper cover (2025 RS) to ground, was 13 1/2".

Not yet. While not preferred route, I did remove one of the rear lights to see if I could install a 'T' harness between the harness and light assy.. The harness side is a 5 pin TE Conn. with (from what i can see) '241211' laser etched into the latch. I haven't found that conn. set yet. Other option is splicing which i really don't want to do. Next step is call the 'dealer' and see if there's a job code/ $$ for programming the SJB to power the hitch harness.....unless someone else finds the answer.

@Enjin, this is interesting. The Curt application chart lists a 25 hitch, but the custom wiring only allows up to 24. What is also strange is the OEM on the chevy website is no longer there. Maybe I looking at it wrong. The picture in my OP is from the Chevy ACC website. I wonder if the information is starting to get caught up with everyone.

@Enjin, in your OP you said you talked to Etrailer. Looking on their website I found this https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit...quinox/2025/TK67KR.html?VehicleID=20256015445
Is that the type of connector you need?

Hi Penright, I posted the link to the 'pending' Curt harness (# C88RV) from eTrailer, but per eTrailer (at the time of my post) the picture was not the intended solution. Your image is similar to the existing Curt image, the 3rd image from the right showing 6 pins. 'Ours' (or mine at least) is a 4 pin from the same Molex family, P/N 33471-0401. You can search on Ebay or Amazon to find them with installed pig tails. I bought 3 x pcs FWIW. Overall, as you suggest IMO 2025 info has yet to catch up (and some sites which claim their harness fits 2025 are wrong). Image of the Molex 4pin from Amazon attached.

This is What GM is providing me . Also remembered to grab photos.....The 24 Hitch mounting from the bottom of the frame rails hangs lower than id like. Far as the harness goes i re-pinned a 4 pin trailer pigtail into the existing dummy empty connector that was on the factory connector. But no power is being sent to any of the 4 wires after a quick probe . Almost has to be some relay under the hood thats missing ....... or maybe a dummy fuse or relay? I checked all the locations for the trailer light fuses and relays and they are all populated but i didn't think to pull em to see if they where live. That's tomorrow's plan . check for power at each fuse and relay location in the engine bay.

Saturday the 2025 was in the shop. I went over to new car sales to ask a few questions. When brought up the subject of the receiver hitch, he told me they just installed one on a customer's car this last week. When I asked about how the trim piece fit, he told me it didn't, which is what I would expect. He said they tried to do the edges the best they could but it was not right. I got the impression that Chevy is going to come out with one someday. For my purposes, I am not in that big of a hurry, so I can wait.
