Does anybody know the speaker sizes for the 2025 RS (Non-Bose)? They don't have anything listed yet on Crutchfield. Would it be safe to assume they are probably the same as the 2024 and back? The lack of bass is disturbing, lol.

I think I read that the Bose was not an option for 2025, nor any premium audio. Which is kinda weird IMO.

As for speaker size, I wouldn't assume it is the same as the 22-24 as this is a new generation Nox. Sorry I have no specifics.

No worries.

Yeah, Bose is not an option. The option it did come with is pretty flat when adjusting bass and other things. Trying to figure out what I can replace them with.

My 2013 Nox had Pioneer, which wasn't too bad. My 2022 Nox has Bose and is way better. I still can't believe they just decided to use a standard system in all models. You'd think if they wanted to use just one option, it would be a premium system. Let's see if they get much kickback and offer premium systems starting in 2026.

I imagine in a few months, info on speakers etc will start emerging as these are around longer. Good luck.

I agree. You get in your top trim car to escape reality and drive somewhere, open up your mind and bam, crap audio

So it's definitely a 6x9. I pulled the front door panels off.

But you can't just throw a speaker in there. The existing speaker basket is built into some sort of mount that is held in by one bolt.

I have ordered some mounting adapters for a different vehicle and will try installing them to see if it works. I've also ordered some speaker connectors that will hopefully work with the factory plug from the door. There is a really good tutorial on YouTube to show how to figure out the polarity of the wires coming from the factory plug. Installing speakers out of phase can give you really poor sound quality.

I can tell you that the speaker in the door is a one way style which makes sense since there is some type of tweeter in the dash. The existing speakers are 4 ohm and rated for 20 watts (possibly peak).

The audio in these is pure garbage. I can honestly say I've never had new/newer vehicle in my 40 plus years of driving that had such a non descript sounding audio system. I took the 17 Yukon on a recent 1200 mile trip for just this reason.

Agreed. If these parts work out for the install I'll post the part numbers to help other people.

I went with the jl audio speakers as well because of their sensitivity rating. They are designed to work well with factory head units. I opted for the two way version just in case the door speakers get full range.

The doors themselves aren't hard to take off. There's two bolts and then the rest is held on by clips.

Appreciate it. It's my daughters car but I'll drive it often enough I don't mind paying for some upgrades that bump up sound quality.
