I purchased a new 2025 Equinox and love it except I find the wiper controls difficult to use.

Touchless carwash is the way to go, if you don't have time to hand wash! One hint on the delay wipers. When the rain stops turn off the wipers because they will stop on their own but they are not OFF. They are waiting for water to touch the windshield and mine did it as I was entering a carwash. It was the heavy duty type with the rollers and brushes and I believe they could have ripped my wipers right off.
Agreed! I have a nice touchless near me, it does a fantastic job. But I try to handwash as much as possible, I had the ceramic coating applied and the carwash chemicals are pretty harsh and can prematurely wear it off.Touchless carwash is the way to go, if you don't have time to hand wash!
My previous car was a 2019 Ford Escape. The windshield wipers had a "courtesy wipe", after wipers turned off for 2 seconds it gave one more wipe pass. It always makes me laugh thinking about the brainstorming session when the Ford engineers named this process -- a courtesy wipe.I purchased a new 2025 Equinox and love it except I find the wiper controls difficult to use.
I had a 2023 Edge rental earlier this year with that same Courtesy Wipe feature. Still worth a chuckle! My previous car was a 2019 Ford Escape.
