2025 Equinox notification keeps repeating

I’m constantly having to delete an ongoing ‘Do you wish to disable passenger lockout’ notifications. Why does this keep coming back after I hit delete??

i get the same thing anytime i have a passenger, I just clear it out but it is annoying for sure,
i have not found a solution to disable the notification permanently

Look through your settings. I don't remember one for the passenger, I know there is one for the backseat. It is triggered anytime a backdoor is open. It only flashes for a minute, kind of like the phone charging message.

I heard that if you simply delete the notification, it will return. you need to go into your settings and set the setting to your preference and save it. That should keep the notification from repeating.

When someone get a new vehicle it's a good idea to spend time looking through all the settings and the manual.
On my wife's new Blazers I have sat in the car several times looking at all the settings.
If I find something I don't understand I look in the manual .
I also look at you tube and forums.
It's my job to get all that stuff figured out for my wife
