2021 chevy equinox start then died

I have a 2021 chevy equinox 1.5 turbo lt and I started it at the store camera didn't work when put in reverse car stalled know acts like it has a bad starter. Have 12.45 volts to starter and battery . Starter clicks like its trying.but you can feel stator kick. Does anyone have any input to wether or not its actually the starter or not. Also have no dtc present.

Did you try jumping it to start it?
It may be your battery.

If you turn the headlamps on, then try to start the vehicle, do the headlamps dim or go out completely?

I've seen batteries be so bad, the vehicle won't start with a jump.

If the battery is original, I would replace it regardless, especially if you've kept auto stop/start active since the vehicle was new.

My 2018, did a similar thing. Started fine but when I went drive forward it died.
Was the fuel pump circuit board module. The fuel pump was fine.
Not a cheap repair because of where it is located.
