So I can't lock the doors on Equinox via any method. Passenger door/drivers door won't lock or unlock from the FOB, from the interior buttons, from the door button, nor when I put the car in drive/park.

Fob works to open hatch. I've unplugged the battery for 5 hours, no change.

Any ideas?

Just as an aside, I have another electrical problem that started a month ago, and that is the auto lane keep and forward crash sensor is doing nothing. I doubt that is related, because it happened at different times. I am about fed up with this car and its electrical system that must have been designed by Mopar.

do you still have the original battery? If so, that may be the issue

Why would I not be able to lock the doors from the interior buttons? And the fob still works, like I said, I can open the rear hatch with it.

(And the battery was replaced 6 months ago with a name brand).

I have a similar problem with my 08 Nox. Fobs stopped working and some doors work with door switches, some don't. There is supposedly a module which controls these functions and is only available at junk yards. Don't need to lock it so I'm not going to bother with it.

Sorry, I should have closed the loop on this. My problem was a wire from the fuse box in the engine compartment according to my dealer.

Probably one of your door lock actuators went bad. I have had to replace all four of mine at different times since I bought my Equinox in 2019. Is the little red light lit up on the door lock buttons? Usually, a sign if one it out. I have posted my door lock problems on here, check them out.

Do look at what fuses handle the doors etc. Sometimes you can't see a burnt out fuse. Switch the fuse out with same amp fuse; can always buy a fuse if it is the problem.
