Yesterday, I stopped at the gas station after an hour-long trip to fill up my car. After filling up, I turned back on my car to leave, and as soon as I gave it any gas, it stalled, and the check engine light came on. I tried again multiple times with no luck. It does the same thing in reverse. I haven't had a chance to test the code yet, but it idles fine and ran perfectly my entire ride back before stopping for gas. Any ideas on what this could be? I made sure that the fuel cap was tight. So I don't think it's related to that. I've heard rumors that it could be the key fob, but I haven't had the chance to try the other one yet.
