I would continuing taking your vehicle in for service until the vehicle is fixed. You could also try another GM dealer or you can also ask to speak with the region GM rep personally. They need to know you mean business!
I actually took my 2012 Knox to the dealer body shop on friday, because there is bubbling occuring on my inside bottom of the rear driver and passenger side doors where the sheet metal folds over.
The told me that usually in order to be covered under warranty. GM wants the rust to be showing...
They are original factory Michelin Latitude Tour tires. I went to a Michelin Authorized dealer last night and was told that it was normal wear.
I totally do not agree with that. I was also told some bullcrap story that tire shine can cause that. I asked him to explain why inside of the tire was...
Would anyone consider this a safety issue? All 4 of my tires have this issue as 40,000 miles on a 65,000 Mile Warranty tire.
I looked up the Michelin Latitude Tour Tire recalls and it doesn't look like my tires DOT M33T 007X 1012 are included in the recall.
I'm going to swing by a Michelin...
Well i guess you could always call the phone number and check it out.
I've heard of issues with rusting. In fact while washing the Knox yesterday i noticed that the bottom inside of my rear door are starting to bubble up where the sheet metal is folded.
So after 40K miles i'm getting ready to replace Brake pads only, the rotors have held up really well. I also like the factory rotors since the centers don't rust like crazy.
What do you current 2010+ owners recommend for brake pad brands. I wouldn't mind staying with the factory AC Delco brand...
The switchblade "key" has more of a square look to it and would most likely require a new tumbler as well. I'm not sure of the implications if the PassLock systems would be compatible either.
My Old 1st gen nox had a horrible problem chewing up keys changing the tumbler was not fun lol either...
The only reason i would want to mess with it, is so i could adjust the factory subwoofer individually. Only being able to adjust the whole vehicle bass is a major downfall.
Personally i use Synthetic so i can go longer between oil changes. However if you are using conventional its not a problem just means its required the oil to be changed more often. I like using sythetic because i personally don't need a oil change every 2-3k miles i used the Mobil 1 extened...
Yeah its kind of crappy, learned this one quick and had to buy the tool on amazon. At least i have it now. It would be nice if the Knox would honk when you reach 35 PSI.
Glad they found the issue, its a shame it happened below 100k miles.
My first car a 95 Bonneville didn't need a new bearing hub until 200k miles and that was because the speed sensor was bad and built in.
One of the main reasons i went with the LTZ was the additional interior lighting and the projector headlamps. I upgraded all the interior lamps even the vanity mirror to LED bulbs and wow does it made a huge difference!
Mine always goes back to whatever i was listening to previously before i shut the car off.
I didn't not opt for MyLink when it first came out so no Bluetooth Music for me.
Moisture can def reduce the life of your bulb. I wouldn't recomment drilling holes in the lamp housing tho, because once you have a hole there moisture can continue to get into the housing. Especially if you live in a Wet/Humid climate
I would
A. Make sure there are no cracks in the housing...
