Apparently, I will be notified of field actions and recalls via email or Chevy App center. However, I will not be notified of any technical updates.

It would be nice if owners of vehicles were told of updates that are necessary via email or through the MyChevrolet phone app (just checked that in case that WAS the way they notified). Thanks for the info on additional patches.

51ChevyGuy - The dealership applied an update that reported black screens and reportedly to resolve that very issue. The Update is titled: #24-NA-193: Radio Software Update W52E-176.1.2-M170-SQBR5-250.2 - (Nov 26, 2024). It was updated at the dealership at no charge. FYI...

Interesting. Didn't occur to me about the blank speedometer being a safety issue and the idea of filing with NHTSA. I'm going to go the friendly route first and see what they find out at the dealership.

2025 Equinox and for the first time I've experienced both displays blanking out for a few seconds while driving at night. It has under 1,000 miles on it so we're working the kinks out of it. Fuse issue? Bigger issue? I've got our dealer looking into it but thought I'd fly it out here too...

We just purchased a 2025 Equinox LT and it did not come with an Owner’s Manual. Had to order it for about $50 from HelmInc. It’s a smaller format than default 8.5” x 11” if print the PDF.

Note that the MyChevrolet Android App will show a warning if the pressures are not 41. That happened with our 2025 Equinox LT as they had them for the older / other models at 35 or so. …They corrected them to 41 after I reported that the app was flagging them.
