2005 equinox has water on drivers side floor after rain

I have a 2008 Nox and years ago I had the same problem. I discovered that the plastic door step plates were pitched inward. I removed the plates and put spacers underneath to make them slope outward. Worked for me.

2005 equinox has water on drivers side floor after rain

I had a sloped driveway so any water that got down to the plenum would find an open seam and make its way into the car and onto the floor. The dealership covered all the seams with seam sealer and that took care of it.
