OK SO, I have a 2025 base model equinox. It almost seems like my vehicle is the only one not getting this update and its frustrating. I do lots of long distance travelling where i eat in my car at truck stops and stuff. I HATE having to use my phone as the video screen for my long stops. I've seen many many people get this fancy magical update that gives them the ability to download netflix peacock etc to stream while in park. Even on those who had to get an update pushed due to black screens happening (which I did have this issue, did have dealer update) But for some reason I'm not getting this update... Is EVERYONE having this update but me? Or is all my fb groups skewed with higher trim equinoxes? I'm going crazy over this lol

Found out my dealer HADN'T actually done the update (very annoying) so i went back, had another tech do it, and now i have streaming apps like amazon prime, plex, pluto, Crunchyroll, and youtube. (odd how netflix is non existent but anime isn't) And it even has google chrome.

Yes, I had my dealership do the update for the home link garage door opener and maybe this feature was included because it works now. It was quite a hassle though. I brought my car in for a 12:30 appointment last Saturday. They told me the update would take 4 and half hours. I waited all the way until 5pm until service dept closed. Then they told me there was still another 2hours to go on the update that they would have to finish on Monday. I got them to pay for my Lyft ride home and another Lyft ride to pick it back up Monday evening. Whole Saturday lost.

Yes same thing happened to me. Had a 1130 appointment for maintenance and update, the guy said maintenance normally takes an hr and half but with the update also, prob closer to the 3 hours, after waiting for 3 hours he said probably another hr and half, so I went home and then noone called me with am update I had to call them and then the service department closed so I couldnt pick it up until the next day.
