Universal Remote Non-Functional

I stopped by the Dealer today and inquired if there were any pending updates on my 2025 Equinox. I was hoping that the Universal Remote was available.

He said there were no updates for my Equinox.

My dealer told me the same theng. Another member put the TSB # in his post. The TSB came out in February and it's #25-NA-021. Once I told them about it, they were able to find it. The dealer applied it to my RS and the universal remote still isn't available on my vehicle. They printed out the build sheet and saw that the universal remote was in the vehicle.It took them a day or two to reach out to their technician technical support group, they told my dealer to apply the update again since it may not have downloaded properly to the vehicle. I'm going back on Wednesday, hopefully it will work this time.

Show them this and have them look it up, I went through the same thing. I don’t know why they’re claiming not to know about it…

No, GM is missing something, it may be on purpose but I got the universal remote and it works great, it’s location controlled, when I approach my garage the icon appears on the infotainment center. It also includes some really cool Play Store stuff as well. Im now able to watch movies while parked…
