Towing 24 Premier

We are currently on a trip, and we did not unhook the car from the rv a couple of nights at the start of the trip. I believe we are following the tow instructions pretty carefully. Regardless, 2 nights in a row, after about 3 or 4 after stopping for the night, car is still hooked up to rv, the parking lights came on all by themselves. I turned them off and they stayed off. Any ideas why this occurred?

Because Chevy's dinghy towing instructions do not address that. I have a step in my 2020's checklist to turn the headlight AUTO function off after each engine start. The AUTO headlight control gets enabled each time the engine is started.

My 2021 premier, lights came on and also motorhome clearance lights. Ran down battery. Night sensor on car turned on lights. I'll try to turning

Happened to me too. Also turned on motorhome clearance lights. Will use auto light off knob.
