Hey eveyone, new 2015 Equinox V6 owner here, just wanting to know if this sound is normal for the V6 models or not.
It's only noticeable in the cabin, I barely can hear it with the hood open otherwise. I'm not sure if it's a normal noise for these LFX engines or something just unique to the Equinox. The sound picks up with acceleration then goes away. No noticeable performance drops or anything of the sort. It has 109k miles on it now, but no timing chain rattles and the service history shows it was well cared for.
