Pulled heads and noticed 1 plug was not even with adjacent cyl. Plug unscrewed hard so I dug up a 14-1.25 tap. I could not get it to start threading in. Just didn’t feel right. So, I screwed it in from combustion chamber side. Went in ok. Good amount of crud on tap. The new plug screws in fine now. I imagine most folks don’t chase threads from inside out.
It was rear head too. I wonder how old plugs were?
I removed plugs from front head also. And they were tight to loosen also.
