That will be some fun.. They were projecting that we were going to get up to a foot of snow Mon-Tues... But I think the possibilities are diminishing.

Well they change it for us too.

Tonight: A slight chance of rain before midnight, then rain and snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 34. East southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Sunday: Snow, mainly before noon. High near 34. East wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

I bet we do not get 4 inches but it sure would be fun if we did.

The weather here in Texas can be polar opposites from one day to the next. No snow out here, though. Supposed to be down in the teens a couple nights next week.

Yeah it's a pain to predict what it will do here what with us being at a crossroads so to speak.
Like tonight, we have the cold front coming down and the low pressure system bring moisture up from Mexico and it will depend on the cold front if we get rain or snow.
Right now it's again looking like it will be well out in East Texas that gets the snow.
The cold front slowed down again and the rain is just now getting here.

Spring is fun here and for the last 18 years the boss at work has come to me when we have bad weather headed towards us and I have gotten good at reading radar and satellite images.

Radar is your friend in tornado alley.

You got that right.

A few years ago the IT guy was turning off the internet on all the computers on the shop floor, I told him he needed to keep the computer that I use on so I could keep the radar up and he left it on for me.
Even the big boss wass OK with that.
You get to were you can see the hooks and nexrad is great to see the winds.
