Skid plate for vapor canister

This spring some road debris obliterated the vapor canister. The unattached vapor canister tore out fuel and vapor line, some of them requiring the removal of the fuel tank to replace. Is there any sort of protection available for the vapor canister. At a minimum to keep it in place so when it is damaged it will not damage all the vapor lines, fuel lines and flex fuel sensor?

You could always have a machine shop fab a skid plate for you.
