I have a friend at work that bought a 2013 Equinox LTZ from a salvage auction. He had the body work fixed up but needed to replace the seatbelts to get it legal. Never got around to it and his wife decided she didn't want it. He's offered to sell it to me for $1,000. It looks brand new but it's been sitting for about 4 years with maybe 5 gallons of fuel in it. What's the best way to remove that without sending it through the filters and engine? I can't find a whole lot of information in general with Google searches, but it seems to not have back seat access to the fuel tank or other easy access to drain the tank. Am I missing something? I'm not really a "car guy". Any help would be appreciated.
