So, my trade in vehicle has a feature on the factory radio for artist or song alert, where if a favorite came on, it would show a pop-up and I could go to that station. This new vehicle, 2 days old lol, doesn't have the feature. I spent over an hour on line chatting with Chevrolet and with OnStar. They then had me call in and spoke with OnStar, and Sirius. Almost 3 hours later, still nothing. Sirius said on the phone that the radio has the feature, but it must be disabled by Chevy or the dealer. Anyone have luck with this? It is something I am willing to pay for. I spoke with service at the dealership, and they have no clue either.

I've never heard of that feature, before. But it sounds like an awesome feature!

From my 2022 OM, wonder if this is what you're looking for?:
SiriusXM with 360L
SiriusXM with 360L interface has enhanced
in-vehicle listening experience for
subscribers. The experience now offers more
categories and system learned
recommendations toward discovering more
personalized content.
To use the full SiriusXM 360L program,
including streaming content and listening
recommendations, OnStar Connected Access
is required
. Connected vehicle services vary
by model and require a complete working
electrical system, cell reception, and GPS
signal. An active connected plan is required.
Reference the SiriusXM user guide for use
and subscription information.

Yeah, no kidding. My 2016 Hyundai Sonata Limited Ultimate had an infotainment screen that would automatically record the first six presets of SiriusXM. So if you heard a song you liked you could play it over and over for close to an hour. Or you could skip forward to bypass their mouthy DJ's by listening a couple of songs back.

If you pressed on a song for information you could see the full lyrics. Then they did an update so you could only see the lyrics if the car was in Park. Yes, initially you could see the lyrics while driving. :)

Free map updates are still downloadable and they also add feature updates for free, eight years later.

All without any kind of subscription other than the usual SiriusXM subscription. Hyundai BlueLink was not required.

A friend commented that Hyundai is like Toyota was in the 1990's where they provide a lot of value for a lower price. I agree.

This stands to reason when they won't even include an owners manual. The app never updates the current mileage or gas levels anymore either, oddly enough just after the premium Onstar trial ended.
