RCDLR?

My 07 equinox has tpms. But, it will not go into the relearn step used to reset each tire location. The DIC says press “check” button on dash to start and it does not proceed. Been told my rcdlr remote control door lock remote module is bad? It’s behind C panel on pass side. Anyone here have any info on this thing?

I assume car has tpms IF dash asks me about it? Maybe car does not but dash defaults to assuming I do? Is that a GM thing?

Have a 2008 Nox and my remote will not work for the locks. Will only work with buttons inside. Wonder if I have same problem.

I fixed the 07 headgasket job. Starts/runs fine. Was smoking a bit initially. Exhaust smelled like crap. After 3 days of short trips it seems much improved. Stft is staying around “0”. Of course seller said he drove it till he couldn’t. So, was cat fouled? Res/muff full of coolant?
I was thinking of swapping rcdlr from 08 to 07 since 08 might be sitting awhile.
