my problem was resolved when Elkins Chevrolet in Marlton, NJ spent tome investigating. They replaced the radio, did not solve the problem.
They replaced the Telematics Communication Interface Module, that is under the radio. This resolved my issue and the radio works great. This was a warranty repair, the part was back ordered and took 6 weeks for delivery, but they solved the blackout issue.
