power ports activation

for teh 2019 equinox power port can the cigerate lighter port or the usb power port be changed form the touch screen to be on when the key is off? i want to carge the phone when the key is off and all the ports turn off when the key is off and or out of the car. thanks

On my 2013 Nox I had 2 lighter ports, one of them was always powered.

On my 2022 I have not tried all the ports to check if any were still powered when off. I don't see any USB port settings in the Menus. Most likely your 2019 would be more similar to my 2022, sad to say.

ok this is not for me but the guy next door. he said the power port/cigar lighter socket turns off with the key, and he want at least one to stay on to power his phone. i have no idea why he wants to leave a phone in the car when he is not there? but.

On my 2021 the cigarette outlet in the back luggage area stays powered, I use it to power my brake unit when I am towing the car behind my motorhome.

Simply have the cig lighter power wire moved from a switched to non switched source. A simple modification any garage could perform.

Being a lazy person, I ran my charging card from the trunk (which is always on) to the middle seat area. I've got a 2020 LT
