Newe 2024 Equinox RS

Hi all....two weeks into my brand new 2024 Equinox RS...so far so good....although all the bell's and whistles can overwhelm my ADHD at times.
Question on music playbackl. I used the flash driv/USB connection on my 2016 Trax. It only supported .wav files, so all thos old flash drives still work. All Formatted to FAT32 and .wav files only. Do the newer systems still only support FAT32? And what about .mp3 and .FLAC files?

MP3's work. That is what I use on my thumb drive. I do not know about .FLAC

I'll put some on a drive and see what happens. I bought an aftermarket CD Player from Amazon. Would not connect via straight USB. Did not recognize. Need the 3.5 plug reading AUX to work and USB to power. Too many cables and look crappy. Any thoughts on aftermarket CD players?

I didn't give CD's much thought. All the remaining CD's I had I converted to MP3. I am sure there is something out there.
