Newbie/ heated seat kit

New to forum, just bought a 2016 equinox ls 2.4 front wheel drive and found out that u can add front heated seats to ls with heated seat kit gm sells, parts guy said it will work with this model, i am a well seasoned mechanic, just wondering if anyone has done this and any pointers, thanx in advance!

anybody out there?

anybody add the heated pad kit to 2015-2016 LS models equinox?? Ive replaced heated seat bottom and back pads in the past but adding them-just lloking for pointers.

I don't think anyone on here has done this on this site that I know of but that wouldn't stop me from doing it if I wanted to.

I don't know if this would be helpful but #17 is your factory heated membrane and I assume it's where you would want to slip the aftermarker one.
